Director of the REACH Performing Arts Center - August 2014 - present
*Booked, maintained, scheduled, and upgraded the 400 seat REACH Performing Arts Center, housed in the Deer Isle - Stonington Elementary School.
*Served as a major school piece of a Kennedy Center for the Arts Partnership between DIS and a local theater organization, Opera House Arts. This partnership brought professional development to school teachers and resulted in a high level of programming for our students.
*Created curriculum and taught theater classes grades 2,3, 6-8 and high school. Co-taught a Symposium-building class on the High School Arts Pathway 2015-2016. Also ran two independent studies, one in advanced theater and one in film studies.
* Directed 5 shows in first school year. Eurydice (High School), Almost, Maine (Community), Dogg's Hamlet (High School), A New Nation (all High School Seniors), and Pirates of Penzance (Grades 1-8). Directed 3 shows in second school year. Dream Play (Grades 8-12), War of the Worlds (High School), and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Elementary).
* Entered the Maine Drama Festival with Dogg's Hamlet. Won the regional festival and placed fourth in the state festival.
* Managed the Elementary School theater program, the high school theater program, and the island's community theater group Cabin Fever. Created a board for the community theater group so that they could function as a stand alone entity.
* Production of War of the Worlds selected to represent Maine at the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, NE. Raised over $10,000 from our community in a matter of months in order to send a dozen students to this week long theater festival.

*Provide a resource for individual troupe directors who need help, advice, or instruction regarding EdTA (or general theater) matters.
*For the Rhode Island Theater Conference specifically: Recruit adjudicators, recruit workshop presenters, recruit high school teachers to bring their students as attendees, create schedules for individual events, workshops, and the rest of the minutiae of scheduling matters. Serve as the ‘last stop’ for all problems, questions, or issues involving the conference.
