NARRATIVE:
As the Director of the REACH Performing Arts Center, I have taken charge of a facility which is a hub for the community at large. The REACH is a place which hosts student events, public concerts, specialized meetings, private recitals, and anything else that comes across my desk.
Additionally, I directed a community theater production in March and August of 2015 which incorporated students and adults. This was housed entirely within the school at the REACH, and allowed for students to work with adults in order to put on a fun and acclaimed show.
I am also the face of the REACH for the community. I have served as MC for both the Bud Carter Scholarship performance and the first REACH Benefit Gala. I almost always introduce any events taking place in the REACH, including guest artists and educational presenters.
I also oversaw the redesign of the REACH webpage, and manage the Facebook page.
Additionally, I have created a regular email - called the REACHout - which keeps community members and the Friends of the REACH informed as to the goings on and upcoming events at the theater.
